2022 National GEAR UP Week TikTok Challenge (Instagram Too!)

This year, during National GEAR UP Week, we are celebrating the resiliency of our #GEARUPworks community. As a part of that celebration we are challenging YOU (and your students, families, partners, school administrators, teachers, everyone!) to celebrate your resilience by participating in the 2022 National GEAR UP Week TikTok/Instagram Reel competition. 

What’s the video? 

We want you to be inspired by Britney Spears Stronger! Listen here. 

In your video, list 3 ways the past two years have been challenging for you or your GEAR UP community… 

Then, as you get “STRONGER” with the song, list 3 ways you or your program have grown and pivoted despite those challenges.

Official Submission Rules:

  • Create & post a resilience video, following the guidelines listed above, on TikTok OR Instagram Reels between September 26 - 30, 2022 

  • Utilize our official sound from the original edpartnerships post 

  • Include #GEARUPworks and #GUweek in your post 

  • Include the name of the related GEAR UP program and “official submission” on post 

  • Complete this online entry form by 5 PM ET Friday September 30, 2022

  • Share your post to get the word out that #GEARUPworks 

  • Winner will be selected by number of likes on official submission post by 5 PM ET Friday, September 30, 2022

    • Screenshot of submission post likes will be taken at 5 PM ET on Friday September 30, 2022

  • Top three videos will have their video featured in the next edition of the GEAR UP Digest and at the 2023 NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference
