What are the NCCEP Toolkits?
Together with leaders in the GEAR UP community, NCCEP has developed a series of toolkits focused on topics to help you administer programming for your GEAR UP grant. Family Engagement Starter Kit for All
An introduction into five elements of family engagement in GEAR UP, this Starter Kit for All provides ideas and resources to kick off or revamp your family engagement programming. Whether you are new to family engagement or simply want new ideas, this Starter Kit for All is for you.
Advocacy Toolkit
NCCEP developed this toolkit to better support your grassroots advocacy work and the #GEARUPworks message. Each year, our GEAR UP community comes together to celebrate National GEAR UP Week. Join thousands of students, families, teachers, partners, and college access professionals from across the nation to celebrate GEAR UP and the successes of your hard work and dedication. Utilize this toolkit to brainstorm ideas and plan for your celebrations.
STEM Toolkit
This resource addresses a persistent challenge: underserved students are less likely to major in or have a career in the STEM fields. In addition to easy to implement, hands-on STEM activities, the toolkit includes recommendations and lessons learned for common challenges faced by GEAR UP schools.
