College Application Fee Waivers for GEAR UP Students

As the fall season ushers in cooler weather, it also marks an exciting time for high school seniors—college application season. However, the costs of applying to multiple colleges can add up quickly, creating financial stress for students and families. That’s why NCCEP has partnered with the Common App and NACAC to offer college application fee waivers specifically for GEAR UP students.

These fee waivers help remove financial barriers, making it easier for GEAR UP students to apply to colleges without worrying about the application fees. This initiative is designed to ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue higher education, regardless of their financial situation.

To assist educators and students in navigating this process, NCCEP has also provided a College Application Fee Waiver Resource Guide for Educators, along with a Fee Waiver Flyer that can be shared with GEAR UP students. These resources are essential tools for guiding students through the application process.
